best rice...

Cooking brown rice has been a challenge for me, and I just don't like it.
Rather I didn't until a happy dragon showed me how on a visit.

Use  a Pressure Cooker !

2 and 1/2 cups of pure water
2 cups well washed short grain brown rice
1/2 teaspoon sea salt

wash the rice, bring the water to a boil,
add the rice stir with a fork,
close the cover,
when it comes up to 2 red rings if your cooker has this
or when it comes up to pressure,
move to another burner pre heated to very low, on electric stoves -
or turn down the heat.

Cook for 50 minutes
remove from heat let stand
for 10 minutes more.

cover should have all pressure off by now:
then open the cover and enjoy the perfect rice.

I like it with yogurt or cottage cheese.
I like it with just avocado or a combination of the above.

You can use it with all kinds of veggies and lots more...
